i wanna write about: how assassinations on high politicians change the political culture of a country.
doe sit really change something or will it just speeden up? are assassinations the symptom of a problem or maybe the cause? Pim in the spotlight, compaing it to tohers (Olof Palme, Sweden ,maybe JFK...)
if i get a prof to it, that is.

wow - really interesting! in my view i dont think the political situation here changed because of his assasination. it did change because someone stood up and gave his opinion: not agreeing how things went in politics here. after his dead even less people voted for his party and well, you know what is happening now..
am pretty curious about what you think about this all!

no, not really. because i want to work on how political assasinations affect working, calm (sorta) democracies. i dont regard Israel as a really working democracy right now -that is, it is a democratic state, no doubt about that. but it is sort of in a civil war, so here an assassination has a total different meaning. know what i mean?

Hmm Meph but Israel is in that "Intifada" again, perhaps, because Rabin was murdered. I actually think that this could be a perfect example of what could happen if.....
Well but on the other side this whole subject could be a bit to complex.

El, i kinda think you got a point in here as well. Unfortunately we ll never find out what would have happened if Rabin wasn't killed. Besides...Israel is a complicated story indeed.
