thanks for the impressions, sofff. and the picture. it's really dark, so i don't really see her haircut (it's cut, not hair do ) and she's cute anyway but i really liked the one she had the last year best. second comes the almost happy one.

i think the shows in the US are even more intimate than in europe. (so it's even harder for me to understand why she did cancel european shows but let's not go there again).

as i'm quite off the loop these days, soff, do you know if someone from the IG BBS or indigovortex is going to boot shows?

hahaaaa dave_the_kick-ass_taper plans to record one (or several i don't remember) show(s). He is on the East coast . Dunno exactly which show he's going to . Don't worry, i will give you news as soon as i know more about this (i suppose he will send me his stuff to let me "spread" it in Europe).
He also told me he wanted to ask some of his friends tapers to get some others shows but there is nothing 'sure' about this part of the plan.

so now, let's hope that Dave's recording device won't meet David's feet...

don't worry leen, you don't know Dave.. it's an indigo girls & k's choice fan from the states, who happens to be a very good show-taper.

the other david i was refering to is sarah's ex (and inès best friend.. lol)

yep, he's indeed a very good taper. he taped the toronto show when sarah & gert opened for the girls in 2002.



yeah, he'd recognize me from a crowd full of k's choice fans. but i guess dave is pretty safe now (as am i).

Komisch allerdings finde ich, dass Sarah nicht ihre Europa-Single FINE performt? Bedeutet dass, dass sie nicht vorhat diesen Song in den staaten als Single auszukoppeln?

Viel komischer finde ich eigentlich, dass Sarah ihre Solonummer Come over here performt. Schließlich tourt da eigentlich K's Choice - und zwar um die 10 zu promoten

Das wurde allerdings - glaube ich zumindest - schon offiziell im Forum geschrieben, dass sowhol Sarah als auch Gert bei diesen Shows einige Solo-Songs performen werden. Nur hat das bei Gert nicht hingehauen, weil anscheinend die Songs noch nicht ganz ausgereift sind....

genau dasselbe hab ich mir bei "winners" auch gedacht. gut find ich auch "losing you" und "my heart" (das spielen sie anscheinend immer drüben).
ansonsten würd meine lieblingssetliste sowieso ganz anders aussehen, die haben so viele gute songs und spielen immer nur dieselben.



fine ist ja auch nicht wirklich gut. außerdem hat bei "k's choice" auftritten gert auch ein wörtchen mitzureden.
und die frage ist: hat sarah für die staaten überhaupt schon einen vertrieb? selbst wenn ja, was ich bezweifle, siehe punkt 1: so gut ist fine nicht.

Aber wenn Gert FINE nicht gefällt, hätte er Sarah sicher davon abgeraten, diesen Song als 1. Solos Single zu verwenden oder??

Ob Sarah für die Staaten schon ein Label hat bezweifle ich allerdings auch

würd mich auch interessieren. könnte aber auch sein, dass sie ihn bewusst rauslässt.



wenn, würd sie da schon längst alleine touren und uns europäern noch nicht mal die kalte schulter zeigen. sie wär ne kleine staubwolke über dem atlantik.
klingt zwar böse, aber ich glaube, sie würde ihre komplette europäische fan-base für nen top 10 US hit eintauschen.
