ok, vll. haben es einige von euch schon mitbekommen, aber ich dachte, da hier einige Melissa Fans sind, sollte es mal geschrieben werden.
Obwohl das jetzt sehr schlimm klingt, sagen die Ärzte, dass einer vollständigen Genesung nichts im Wege steht.
Melissa selbst ist optimistisch: "Ich bin glücklich, dass ich einen sehr guten Arzt habe und dankbar, dass die Krankheit früh erkannt wurde. Ich freue mich auf eine schnelle und vollständige Heilung." Melissa wird sich nach der Behandlung zuhause in Los Angeles mit ihrer Frau und ihren Kindern erholen.
Von dieser Stelle alles erdenklich Gute Melissa!

Ja ich hab das auch schon gehört. Is ne üble Sache sowas - aber schön zu hören, dass die Heilungschancen sehr gut stehen und sie selbst das auch relativ relaxt und positiv sieht
GUTE BESSERUNG..auch wenn sie das wohl nie lesen wird

Hi there, it's Melissa. I am at home recovering from my two surgeries. Wow, I didn't see this coming. But the good news is they took out the tumor and a few lymph nodes, only one of which was positive...the centinal node (for those that know breast cancer speak). After that my margins are clean! I still have both of my breasts and whether I will keep them is a bridge I have to cross later. What an unexpected journey this is.
Now, thank you all for your messages of support and love. Thank you for being the best fans in the world. Thank you for organizing and making those bracelets. I am humbled by your love and caring.
I will be entering the phase of chemotherapy next. Who knows what that will bring. I will be writing songs for the greatest hits album and after...(The Pink album, maybe?) I will be working on the pilot for ABC, and hanging with Tammy and the kids. I imagine you will see me again around the beginning of the year.
Tammy has been the greatest through this, her love is the most healing power I have ever known, and she makes me laugh. Thanks Tam.
So, have a great fall and holiday season, PLEASE vote on Nov. 2nd. and I will be back and rockin' in just a few months!

Ich habe sie im Juli 2004 in Berlin live gesehen ... und dann kamen bald schon diese Nachrichten .... schon seltsam, wie Krankheiten die Lebenssituation so schnell verändern können ... aber schöner positiver Text von Melissa!

Das freut mich echt das es ihr von wieder etwas besser geht und sie schon wieder Pläne verfolgt.Toll das sie in Tammy so eine grosse Unterstüzung hat.

Ich glaube, das ist gerade in einer solchen Zeit das beste, wenn man jemanden hat, der einem hilft das zu überstehen. Die Welt könnte untergehen, aber solange man denjenigen hat, ist nichts unmöglich....*seufz*

yep.
ich hoffe echt, daß die ganze sache positiv ausgeht.
die frau von edwards (kerrys running mate) wurde am mittwoch übrigens auch mit brustkrebs diagnostiziert. zur zeit gibt's echt keine guten news.
