If you live in a city they're headed to, I suggest you spend the best $15 you've spent all summer and get a ticket. They put on a terrific show in SF last night. Brady was great too - Eric had to help him out a little counting in to songs and leading out, but he was fun to watch (when I wasn't watching Sarah.) He even came out and played the first encore while smoking a cigarette, which is a big no-no here in CA, so it was kind of funny. What DO they do backstage during the encore break anyway?! Hmm? Oh, my...

Sarah's new stuff is really good, too. Her cd/ep was only $10. It was a pretty small crowd, but I like it that way. The people there that turned out on a Monday night and didn't see them hit the stage until 10:15 or so were treated to quite a show. Damn...I wish I didn't have a real job. I'd catch a few more shows.

well, we were walking to the venue and this blur of long arms and legs
flys out the front door and jumps on a woman in front of the tour bus.
I immediately knew just from the energy that it was her. Sarah later
mentioned that she has family and friends in the area. So, she's
standing there talking to this woman as we're showing our tickets, so
I was excited just to be that close.

Then we go in and there's two opening acts. Sarah and Gert sit down
right to the side of us and watch both with their friends/family.
People were being really good and leaving them alone to enjoy it, too.

Then they come out and play and it was just awesome. We were right in
front of her. I'll have to scan a few more pictures in. She looked
really good! I loved the setlist, too. I couldn't have asked for a
better pick of songs.

They told us that there's a limited edition hand screened poster that
Sarah and Gert were backstage signing when we first got there. (Which
I knew wasn't exactly true because Sarah was outside talking!) But,
they also told us at the merch table that they would be signing stuff
after.

So, when we got there, there were about 12 people in the room, Sarah
and Gert included. It did fill up as they came on, which was after
10pm, and two opening acts later. But it was still a very small
crowd. I'd be amazed if there were 100 people. But very energetic
and fun!

My girlfriend was standing in front of the center mic when the tech
handed out pics. He had two and he leaned down and gave them to the
two people beside her. But then he gave me Eric's setlist, so I was
happy. They came right out and started talking to people and signing
stuff. They spent a long time with each person or couple. We got a
chance to thank them for playing in the U.S. again together and Gert
was so cute...he asked if it sounded ok because this was a new band
and they didn't really know everything! Sarah was very sweet and
posed for pictures with us and my gf forgot to turn the flash on the
first time, so I got to stand there with my arm around Sarah for an
extra couple seconds! I was thrilled. They drew pictures on our
stuff and were so nice. Sarah and my gf, Nancy, talked about her solo
stuff, too. It was such an awesome night! I came out so exhilarated
because I never went in expecting anything like that! They were so
accessible and down to earth. I'm not the kind of person who waits
outside a stage door or anything to meet someone, so it was nice to be
able to do when they were willing.

siiiiiiiiiiighhhh...

i think i should give her the adress of my hairdressers. at leats they use scissors, and not chain saws.

siigh, why does it always take her so long to find a goodlooking one?? lol

It looks like something between short and long, and like something between dog and besom..

also am besten haben ihr immer noch die blonden haare (oder waren die nicht weiß?)gepasst. ich glaub ein foto davon ist im booklet auf der letzten seite vom cocoon crash album. waren das nicht dreadlocks? oder zumindest fast.
