Also Too many happy faces live klingt aber sicher auch ziemlich genial. Und ich kann mir kaum ein besseres Lied als Another Year als 1. Lied vorstellen, vielleicht noch Already there.

Article from Kalamazoo gazette:
there's a couple of mistakes in it but there's one "interesting" information (if exact) : "While Bettens now lives in L.A. and is working on her U.S. citizenship" ...
Zitat: K's Choice reunites for fund-raiser concert Friday, October 22, 2004 By Elizabeth Clark Special to the Gazette
The K's Choice reunion tour doubles as a family reunion, triples as a fund-raiser and quadruples as an ongoing CD release party.
The Belgian band -- principally sibling duo Gert and Sarah Bettens -- split when Sarah moved to the United States. Brother and sister are finishing up debut solo albums. When Skills of Ortega founder and ovarian cancer survivor Christine Baze approached the band about joining in her cancer research fund-raiser tour, Yellow Umbrella, they were delighted to get on board. It also blends perfectly with the release of the band's "Best of K's Choice" CD.
Since other former K's Choice members are busy in Belgium with other projects, guest musicians will fill in on the U.S. tour, which hits Club Soda on Tuesday. "It's kind of a weird tour for us," Sarah Bettens said. "It's kind of like starting over."
Still, the United States isn't an entirely new market for the group. While the name K's Choice may not ring any bells, its song "Not An Addict" became a Billboard Top 30 "heatseeker" track for a hefty
30 weeks.
Bettens said it's frustrating that people in the United States like her band but don't realize it. Many who saw K's Choice open for the likes of the Indigo Girls, Alanis Morrissette and Morphine may be in the know, however, as would Lilith Fair-goers during the inaugural year of the chick-rock festival, when K's guest-starred on the second stage. But ultimately, they've remained a largely European sensation.
While Bettens now lives in L.A. and is working on her U.S. citizenship, her upcoming album will be released in Europe through the small label Idol Music.
The group got its start playing cover songs at family gatherings in Antwerp, in the Dutch-speaking northern part of Belgium where Bettens' parents and brother still reside. The group was known as the Basement Pigs during these formative years and initially sang in their native tongue, but quickly moved on to popular music, which was largely from the United Kingdom and United States.
"A couple of years later, we got asked to play at a party a couple of songs," Bettens said. "We pretty much got signed before we were really serious about it.
"We'd only written five songs or something," she said. "We didn't realize we were good enough to make a career out of it. We were minding our own business, attending school, and before we knew it we made our first record in
Belgium."
Bettens said her parents, who've been very supportive of their careers, took comfort in the fact that then-20-year-old Sarah wouldn't get dropped into "some crazy unknown world" of the music scene alone. Her brother, two years her elder, is one of those people who picks up an instrument and immediately knows how to play it. And Sarah was a singer from the start.
"My mom tells me I was singing as early as I was talking," she said. "It was simultaneous. I'd be singing along with the songs I heard on the radio in English and not knowing what it meant and messing the words up. It was like every little girl's dream -- I want to be a ballet dancer, I want to be a movie star -- I want to be a rock star when I get older."

Zitat: The Early Years - The Basement Plugs Since the late eighties, brother and sister Gert and Sarah Bettens have been active in the Belgian music scene. Whilst studying, they formed their own "hobby-band" called " The Basement Plugs ", and predominantly covered popular songs in the Antwerp area. Rehearsals in a friend's basement (supplied with enough plugs), gave rise to the rather amusing band name!

Oh mein Gott, auch wenn ich jetzt hier komplett unten durch bin, aber so frühere Groupnamen kann ich mir grundsätzlich nicht merken!
Aber diese Elizabeth anscheinend auch nicht so ganz
