Helloooo Germany!

Since i ll be in Germany the coming days i was wondering if you, experts, could tell me something interesting about Oberhausen (going there just for a day) or Stuttgart (going to a place quite close for a few days). Any fun places to hang or something?

The areas you go to are called Schwabenländle and Ruhrpott. SO i am afraid the answer is..nope, not at all!

Was soll denn das heissen? Haben wir etwa im Schwabenländle nix zu bieten? Schon Alleine die Tatsache, dass ich da wohne ist jederzeit eine Fahrt dorthin wert Sodele!

Naja und alles weitere erzähl ich dann morgen, denn ich bin gerade erst heimgekommen und total groggy - bin Konzerte einfach nimmer gewöhnt. Werde wphl alt

i ll go to Plochingen to see some friends Know the place? Never been there before..
I ll go with Eurolines, so maybe i ll spend some time in Stuttgart on Tuesday or something, dont know if they took a day off on Tuesday as well.

For sure I know Plochingen. That's pretty close to Stuttgart.
I hope you have a nice time here in the so called "Schwabenländle"

If you need any tipps for your leisure time, just let me know.
If you don't wanna do a lot, I'm sure you can spend the whole day in the pedestrian zone and relax at the Schlossplatz if the weather is nice. Eat some german ice-cream, buy some CDs blablabla

-Planetarium (but only at night)
-Wilhelma (a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge Zoo)
-there's special market (right hand of the Schlossplatz in a big building) -> really cool to walk through and you can always eat some things for free
- "schwabenquellen" (Meph don't you dare laughing - I didn't give them the name) -> 3000 square meters of Sauna, swimming, Massages, realxing...many restaurants and pubs around as well as a gambling hall

Fremdlingen ne Stadt? Boah ihr seid sooooo doof. /me is jetzt wirklich ruhig und verkrümmelt sich in ihr Zimmerchen

HUMMMM...ok, apart from the weirdos here on the forum Germans seem to be weird in general. Today i went to Oberhausen, which was a greaaaaaaaaaaaaaat day. We went to the Centro and for a bit to the centre near the Haubtbahnhof. The Centro was really nice with it s surroundings, but to be honest the centre near the Bahnhof seemed kinda eastern Europe like to us (no offence, i do love Eastern Europe... but mmm..it was kinda uhm, old and empty down there) But, argh, we had such a good laugh.. when we came back, we found a little note on the car. We had to call a certain phonenumber between 7pm and 9pm, and it said Wichtig! but also that there wasnt anything with the car.. So we called.... kinda curious what was up... Pfff..there were some ppl asking us if we want to be in health business with a German company in NL.. PFFFFFFFFFF! Yes, they really made us make an international call from the car for that.. And as they heard us laughing when we heard it was this kinda bullshit..they were even wondering and asking why we were laughing! Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!
Anyway, tomorrownight i ll be off to Stuttgart..thanks for the ideas!

Ok Galith, this Centro is really the only place you could go in Oberhausen. Besides that there ist nothing really interesting. On the other side the Centro is just a big shopping mall, so I didn't know you where interested in that at all. But hey you are just a girl aren't you ?
So have fun im Schwabenländle. Meph doesn't like this part of our country but heck she lives in Berlin, they always think everything else sucks, never mind...

uyhmm.... well, actually i m not into shopping much, but the way we did it yesterday was rather fun. One of my friends bought for about 450 euro stuff for her kids within 5 minutes. (aha...) Then we were done with the shopping part, all we did is just relax, have a drink, have another drink, have some food, icecream, etc.
And about Meph not liking some parts of Germany...mm..oh well.. *no comment*
