Some of you may know me from the k's choice bootleg site

I don't come here often since my German is as good as my japanese .. lol

anyway i had an idea..

With this k's boot website, i have some people who contact me for trades or B&P to have k's boots... i most of the time set up something with those persons when i'm not overbooked. But it's sometimes difficult for me to handle all those trades alone . so here is the idea:

Since i know some of you here have some (or a lot of ) boots
Since i've made some big B&P with pple in belgium or Germany or England
I think there's now a lot of "K's Bootleg Branches" over there ..
and the good idea would be to connect those branches so that they could share their K's boots, or offer some B&P to people who don't have anything yet but would like to begin a collection (keep in mind that almost every trader began with some B&P .. ).

and guess what .. this "Connecting people (lol) place" could be this forum , in a "Bootleg Trading section" in english (i can link it to my website so that people interested in trading k's boot can find what they want there)
You may give some rules like:
only registered ppl can read/post
only K's bootleg trade (no official media could be trade)

there can be a trading faq or B&P faq topic to help newbies
New boot offers, trees set up , etc...


I can hear you thinking 'but why doesn't she do this forum herself on her site ?' .. yes, good point.. but the thing his, there's already a large crowd on this kschoice.de forum, so i thought it would be easier to connect people there.. that's it..

so tell me what you're thinking, if it's possible.. i don't know who is the admin of this forum , i hope you'll like the idea

Well I can only speak for myself, but I'm not sure if it's such a good idea to make kind of an official bootleg forum...I know from some other fan-forums, that they got a lots of troubles with offers of unoffical live stuff.

What I would rather suggest is, that ppl interested in getting bootlegs either go to sites like www.tapetrader.com or db.etree.org or search in google for bootleg sites. Well that's at least the way I got started and it worked quiet well
You get a lots of trading pages and most of those ppl are open to newbies and offer b&p. So it shouldn't be that difficult to get started.

Another possibility is:
If time allows it I also do b&p trades - so don't hesitate to give ppl my url

Besides that I'm sure that in our little german community most ppl traded already with each other

But let's hear what the other Germans think about it...

I totally agree with spooni. It's not a good idea to build up a quite big trading community on a German website. The law in Germany has just changed and I'm not sure about what happens if you get caught.

So all I could do would be link to your homepage or another page that offers trading trees. And even that is quite "dangerous".

I gave this a lot of thoughts, also from the legal perspective and Bödi might have a point here. It's not exactly legal anymore in Germany...i think it would be okay if K's gave out an official taping police! (grrrrr...they copy everything fromt he IG, why not this as well???) that allows taping. With that things would be so much easier, we could even use furthur.net

How about adding a guesbook to your site? People could post their requests there and maybe that would help?

I don't really know the law about these type of cd-sharing (I don't know if anybody knows) but I'm willing to take the "risk".
The last months I tried tapetrader.com with no respond yet, I emailed some people directly but the best I get was a nice "sorry, but no time" (thx sofff )
so I admit I am an addict without new drugs. can anybody help me?

@RandyDean the easiest way is still to search for traders via google or any other searching machine. Although I must admit that I only made good experiences with tapetrader or db.etree.org

und ja, schuldig... aber erwähnte ich noch nicht, daß ich gerade mal ein paar wenige Stündchen auf dem CSD war? sind erst spät angekommen, weil irgendwer mal wieder nicht aus den Socken kam, und mußten dann noch früh abhauen, weil wir noch bis zur Wuhlheide zum Rosenstolz-Konzert mußten...

Vor kurzem hat jemand im SB Forum Sarah direkt gefragt, was sie davon hält, wenn ein Konzert, das im Radio übertragen wurde, unter den Fans getauscht wird. Und heute hat Sarah dazu ein Statement abgegeben - eigentlich nicht wirklich was neues, aber dennoch will ich es euch nicht vorenthalten:

Das ist aber ein wenig sehr grau, oder? Ein Bootleg ist also böse, weil Sie nicht will das diese Musik die dort gespielt wurde nicht irgendwo zu hören sein soll.... Hmmm aber wieso macht sie dann diese Konzerte wenn nur ein Konzertsaal voll Leute davon was haben darf. Seltsame Begründungen schickt die da raus.

ich kann das schon irgendwie verstehen. weil nämlich live nicht immer alles glatt läuft. ich würde auch nicht wollen, dass musik von mir im umlauf ist von der ich denke, dass sie nicht perfekt ist. vor allem wenn man auf tour ist, jeden abend wo anders kann man nicht immer die selbe leistung bringen.
wenn sie live spielt und weiß dass sie aufgenommen wird bereitet sie sich daruaf vor und is sicherlich besonders konzentriert...

sollte sie aber nicht im gegenteil bei jedem konzert das beste geben, ob mit oder ohne radiomikrophon oder fernsehkamera? theoretisch, weil die leute, die zum konzert gehen eine menge geld dafür bezahlen?

okay, praktisch wird immer was schieflaufen, vielleicht wird nicht ganz so sehr am ton gefeilt.
aber ich habe das gefühl, sarah denkt immer, dass alle welt dann diese aufnahmen hat und hört. das ist aber ein gravierender irrtum: nur echte die-hard fans haben sowas (und hören es sich an). wir waren schon auf konzerten, kennen sozusagen die 'richtigen' live versionen und wir haben alle offiziellen cds. wenn ein bootleg in umlauf gebracht wird, wird das ja nicht die popularität der band schmälern, auch nicht wenn sie daneben hauen.

wozu der bettensche perfektionismus führt, hat man ja am live album gesehen: sterile, kalte atmosphäre, alles andere als ein typisches live konzert, kein gerede zwischendurch, sozusagen das best of album live eingespielt.
nee, dannlieber nen echten bootleg. my 2 cents.
