Sorry, wenn ich n bisschen spät bin, aber ich freu mich gerade ganz doll, dass Sarah vielleicht sogar wieder nach Magdeburg kommt. Und Factory ist für Konzerte gar nicht so übel. Die Helden waren vor ein paar Wochen auch da und ich war eigentlich in meiner Teeagerzeit (lang lang ist's her) fast jede Woche da. Der Termin im Januar hätte mir aber überhaupt nicht gepasst. Deshalb find ich März-April definitiv besser. Würde dann wohl auch noch nach Berlin fahren oder so. Ach, ich schreib schon wieder wirr.
Und beamen: Photonen gehen mittlerweile schon Bei was mit richtig Masse müssen wir uns wohl aber noch n bisschen gedulden.

Ein sehr netter Newsletter an alle Screamer, die im vergangenen Jahr so tatkräftig dabei waren.

What I didn't do this year is make a bunch of unrealistic resolutions
and then be disappointed in myself because I wasn't able to keep all
of them. I did tell my girlfriend however I was going to try and
make sure there's always gas in the car. I think I can handle that.

On a musical level, I want to continue to work hard and work hard at
making it as fun as possible. We have a few things lined up left and
right, but I won't lie to you, I have huge expectations for 2006. I
hope all of you will continue to be inspired to help me out a little
in this new year. You've done a fabulous job in 2005, so I'm afraid
you've screwed yourself into me expecting a lot out of you for 2006 too.

At the end of 2005, I was able to look back and relive some amazing
moments of the past year. What makes me happiest about my career is
that I have no regrets about decisions, shows we've done, places
we've travelled to or people we've met. It's all enriching and there
is just nothing else I'd rather do. At the end of 2006, I again want
to be able to look back with a smile on my face and say: 'it was a
good year!'. Even when I get tired on the road or we miss our loved
ones, it's still the best thing in the world and I realize that every day.

I've been writing a lot already and I'm slowly getting ready to make
some demos and have started thinking about making a new record. But
first I want to go out this year and convince the world that 'Scream'
is worth listening to. I hope you're all with me on this one. I'll
see you somewhere around the world really soon, I'm sure.

for your enthusiasm and for your undying love for honest music.

naja, für diese leicht pathetischen jahresrückblicke könnte sie sich auch textblöcke generieren, die sie jahr für jahr austauscht.

Ansonsten wäre es mir lieber der Newsletter hätte mal wirklich ein paar News zu vermelden gehabt - weder über die vergangene US Tour wurde viel berichteg, noch für die eigentlich im Jan/Feb geplante Europa (Deutschland) Tour wurde ein Wort erwähnt...mal wieder sehr typisch das ganze

lol.. na sie hat doch gaanz deuuutlich betont, dass sie keine leeren Versprechungen mehr machen will.. GUUTER vorsatz *gg*

Schade, dass man mal nicht so eben schnell für einen Abend da hinfliegen kann Eddie's Attic und Smith' Ole Bar sind so richtig schöne, kleine Live-Music-Kneipen (für höchstens 150-200 Gäste) , wo man auch lecker essen kann.

das war doch sooo klar, dass "unsere" Tourzeit (nämlich von Sarah vorausgesagt zwischen Januar und März) mal wieder durch die US gigs ersetzt (bzw verschoben) wird... seufz

Ist es da wohl ein Wunder, dass man als deutscher Fan ihr wichtiges Amigetue nicht leiden kann?

Ich find es ganz schön frech, die da drüben permanent vorzuziehen. Sind wirs denn nicht wert? *heul*

Also, am Geld kann's nun nicht liegen, denn wer in Clubs wie "Eddie's Attic" auftritt, der spielt lediglich aus Spaß und für Spesen. Von den "paar Dollar fuffzich", die man dort als Honorar bekommt, kann kein Mench leben, nicht mal ein Musiker.

Ich kann mir auch nicht erklären, warum Sarah mehr in den Staaten Tourt als hier - zumal die Solo Tour im Dez wirklich nicht sonderlich erfolgreich war...da hat sie teilweise vor ner Handvoll Leuten gespielt (wurde mir von Leuten erzählt, die bei Gigs dort waren)..Intime Atmosphöre is ja schön und gut, aber.....

Naja jedenfalls ist es doch leider immer das gleiche. Es wäre wirklich schön, wenn Sarah endlich mal hier Nägel mit Köpfen machen würde, denn dann könnte sie wenigstens auf einem Kontinent Erfolg haben

Das ist es ja : Diese Unentschlossenheit ! Entweder hopp oder top !
Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass sie auch in ihrem momentanen Wohnsitz ihre Musik verbreiten will, aber in Europa herrschen ganz andere Voraussetzungen. Wenn ihr die Fans wirklich so wichtig sind (und die kommen eben zum Großteil aus Belschien und den angrenzenden Staaten), dann tourt sie auch hier wieder verstärkt.

Also warum diese komischen Aktionen ? Was bezweckt sie damit ?
