New single, new album and a first digital scoop through Fuzz !!

As we speak, Sarah’s new album “Shine” (working title) has been finalized while negotiations for her new label are reaching the final stage. Recorded in Belgium at the Galaxy Studios, and mixed in the States, Shine will feature 12 new songs produced by Brad Wood (Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins, Ben Lee, Liz Phair). The first single, Daddy’s Gun, will be released later this month.

To promote the new album, which will be released in Europe late summer and North America in the fall, Sarah will embark on a series of global tour dates from June through November 2007.

To get a first and wider impression of the new songs, real fans won’t have to wait till September. As a matter of fact three new recordings are exclusively available on FUZZ, a new digital music company providing a one-stop solution that connects artists and fans. The rest of 2007 is shaping up to become a heavy promo and concert year for Sarah, who is scheduled to perform at Torenpop in Holland, Nova Rock in Austria, Genk on Stage and Suikerrock in Belgium, Michfest in Michigan and a series of indoor gigs such as La Maroquinerie in Paris, the Spirit of 66 in Verviers (finally a long-awaited gig in the French part of Belgium!), the Mercury Lounge in New York, etc. (more dates and details on our tour page)

So, behind the scenes everybody is working hard to prepare the next release campaign and we’re sure much more details will follow very soon.

Happy 2008, screamers!

Now that we've all recovered from the holidays and from eating too
much food, we start to look forward again and hope this year brings
us nothing but joy and good times.

It's been a great year and I'm taking this opportunity to say thank
you. Anou has been very pleased with your work and she also tells me
we're welcoming a lot of new members after the December tour, that's
awesome! I don't know what I'd do without you guys and I really mean
that. The support has been overwhelming as always and it doesn't go
unnoticed.

It looks like a lot of stuff is going to happen this year. First the
'Vrienden Van Amstel' in Rotterdam for two weeks, then the Transit
shows with my brother, then hopefully a club tour in April covering
some of Austria, France, Germany and maybe Spain, Italy and Portugal,
and then South Africa!! Once we recover from that, there should be a
lot of festivals coming up and late 2008, we embark on another
theater tour in Belgium, Holland and maybe France and Switzerland. I
can get tired just thinking about it.

No, I'm really excited and I hope you are too. Have a great 2008,
follow the things you believe in, listen to the little voice inside
you that says "go for it", fall in love with your boy or girl all
over again and come see us play!

As the sun is starting to SHINE, new tour plans are starting to take shape. Although this message was supposed to reveal a whole bunch of new tour dates, unfortunately we can’t be very specific yet, but still, here’s an idea of what you can expect if you keep a closer look at this page in the coming weeks and months.
First of all, fully confirmed, is the Transit “Music on the road” tour together with brother Gert and the polyphonic choir “Polyfoon” starting this Friday in Mechelen (see all dates on our tour page). In March, Sarah plans a bunch of US club dates, for some of which she will be joined by Gert, which means our US friends will be able to witness the very first “limited” k’s Choice reunion in an acoustic duo setting. For the time being, Salt Lake City, Johnson City and Atlanta have been confirmed… more dates will follow. Later, in the spring, the plan is to schedule a South African tour for which dates should be available soon. After that, the caravan should move on to Europe for part 2 of the European SHINE tour (still to be confirmed). The next obvious step brings us to the summer festivals, some of which are very close to be confirmed. After the summer, rehearsals will start to prepare a brand new Theatre Tour (following the successful and sold out 2006 From Scream to Whisper Tour). Sarah’s musical partner will be Tom Kestens again, but of course the 2006 formula will be entirely reviewed and revamped. This tour should start end of October /early November and will last till X-mas with 17 concerts in Belgium and a bunch of theatre shows in neighboring countries such as Holland and France…
